Nappanee, Indiana, is a small town in the northern part of the state, known for its rich Amish heritage and traditional Midwestern charm. With a population of around 7,000, it's nestled within Elkhart and Kosciusko counties. Nappanee has a significant Amish and Mennonite community, which shapes much of its culture and tourism. Visitors can experience traditional Amish craftsmanship and cuisine, explore locally made furniture, crafts, and baked goods, and see the horse-drawn buggies that are a common sight on its rural roads. The town hosts an annual Apple Festival every September, drawing thousands to celebrate with crafts, food vendors, and live entertainment. In addition, Nappanee is known for its RV manufacturing industry, which has been a major part of the town’s economy for decades. This was one of the most wonderful places I've stayed! Hosts were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I felt safe and right at home. Anytime I'm in this area I will try to rebook this place. Pros: Real house plants, bathtub, super clean, comfortable bed, nice full length mirror, Keurig machine with complimentary coffee pods, to name a few but lots more... Cons: There's a train that passes by frequently all through the night but the host provides ear plugs. It didn't bother me.

My wife and I stayed for the weekend while attending a game at Notre Dame. Easy to find in a great little town with a lot to offer for a quick weekend trip. The hosts were great to deal with and obviously driven to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The space had more than we coukd ask for, they've thought of everything. We can't wait to return and hope to make this a part of our yearly tradition.
